Are you looking to get active, try something new, or find a sport you love? The Community Sports Event 2026 is a free, fun-filled day designed for the whole community to come together, explore a wide range of sports, and take that first step towards a more active lifestyle.

From kick boxing and cricket to cycling, archery and table tennis — there's something for everyone, whatever your age or ability. Meet local sports clubs and organisations face to face, have a go at activities on the day, and find the discipline that's right for you. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to get back into sport, this is your chance to discover what's out there and sign up to something that excites you.

Organised by Off The Street and Beyond Bricks Foundation, alongside a fantastic lineup of local partners, the event is about more than just sport — it's about building a healthier, more connected community.

Entry is free. No experience needed. Register, get involved, and discover your sport!

OFF THE STREET COMMUNITY YOUTH PROJECT

Off The Street (OTS) is a registered charity run and funded by volunteers, which has the primary aim of supporting youth in the community through sports and education.

BEYOND BRICKS FOUNDATION

Beyond Bricks Foundation creates community spaces that nurture health and wellbeing, support youth development and careers, empower mothers and sisters, encourage upskilling, and promote sustainable, eco-friendly living.

FOREST GATE COMMUNITY PILLAR

Forest Gate Community Pillar brings people together, supports wellbeing and inspires learning. Creates a safe space for families and the community. Find out about what they offer by visiting their stall and having a chat with the team.

AL-BADR KICK BOXING

Al-Badr Kick Boxing upholds the tradition of ‘old school’ training methods, blending intense strength & conditioning, sparring, roadwork, and technical workshops. Drop by their stall to connect with the team and take part in the Kick Boxing workshop.

BROTHERS ON BIKES

Whether you ride for fitness, commuting, socialising, racing, or simply for the coffee and cake, you’ll find like-minded cyclists at Brothers on Bikes. Come meet the team, and sign up to their 50-mile London to Southend Beginner Series, and discover many more rides!

GAPPED

Gapped CC welcomes all ages, from toddlers on balance bikes to professional cyclists. Their mission is to make cycling accessible, inclusive and inspiring. Supporting everyone from grassroots riders to future champions. Find out more at the event and get your toddlers started with the balance bike workshop!

RAHMA CLUB

Rahma Club is currently taking running to the next level. Connect with the team and meet some of the runners preparing for the London Marathon and Half Marathon, and find out how you can get involved and be part of the journey!

WOODFORD TABLE TENNIS SCHOOL

Woodford Table Tennis School's coaches ensure you get the experience you’re looking for, whether it’s improving your skills or just having fun. Therefore,join us for an exhibition game of table tennis and challenge the pros!

SALAAM CYCLING CLUB

Salaam CC is a men’s cycling group open to brothers who enjoy staying active while building friendships through cycling and good company. Visit their stall to meet the team and get signed up!

CYCLE SISTERS

Cycle Sisters is an award-winning charity creating accessible and empowering cycling spaces for Muslim and ethnically diverse women. Come and visit them and learn how you can get into cycling  and join their regular women-only rides.

FRENFORD CRICKET CLUB

Frenford Cricket Club a friendly, sociable, and inclusive cricket club for girls (U15 and 15+) and women. If you have any questions or would like to join, visit their stall for a chat with the coaches and take part in the cricket workshop.

The event takes place on Sunday 29th March 2026 at QIS Community Hub, 1–5 Upton Lane, London, E7 9LN

What are the event timings?

The event is split into two sessions:

Sisters (Boys aged 7 and below) from 10am–1pm 

Brothers (Girls aged 7 and below) from 2pm–6pm

How much does it cost to attend?

Entry is completely FREE!

Who is the event for?

The event is open to the whole community — activities are available for all ages, with separate sessions for brothers and sisters.

What sports and activities will be available?

The event features kick boxing, football, table tennis, cricket, cycling, archery, boxfit, jazzminton, and more. Activities will be run by a range of sports organisations throughout the day.

Who is organising the event?

The event is co-organised by Off The Street (OTS) and Beyond Bricks Foundation, in partnership with Forest Gate Community Pillar and several local sports clubs

Which sports organisations will be there?

Attending organisations include Al-Badr Kick Boxing, Brothers on Bikes Cycling Club, Gapped, Rahma Club, Woodford TTS, and Salaam CC — all with stalls to share information about their activities.

Will there be food available?

Yes! A BBQ will be on the day for visitors to enjoy while exploring the event.

Do I need to register in advance?

No pre-registration on entry is required — just turn up, however registration will help ensure we have enough catering for the event.
